Carmel Clay Public Library – Emergency Training

The Carmel Clay Public Library staff attended a STOP THE BLEED® class hosted by the Veridus Group and instructed by Shane Ginnan, Project Executive for the Public Safety team. Participants were given classroom instructions to better prepare themselves to save lives if people nearby are severely bleeding. The class raised awareness and taught people three quick actions to control serious bleeding. Once the lecture was complete, the staff members practiced their new skills with the instructor. The Carmel Clay Public Library staff is now prepared to take action, should a situation present itself. A well-trained and prepared staff can make all the difference when seconds matter.
