The Veridus Group was honored to be the Owner’s Representative for the Washington Township Fire Station #144 in Avon, Indiana. Throughout the Hendricks County long-range planning process, a new fire station was placed high on the priority list due to two main factors: population growth and response time.

“It was a pleasure working with the Veridus Group on the construction of our new fire station. The team was very knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. They did an outstanding job functioning as our Owner’s Representative partner,” said Dan Smith, Fire Chief of the Avon Fire Department.

The new 9,500-square-foot Fire Station #144 is crucial to the continued growth and development of the Washington Township community, according to Chief Dan Smith. As service requests increase, the ability to deploy apparatus and personnel more efficiently will allow for reduced response times, thus creating better outcomes when residents in the highest-populated areas experience potentially life-threatening emergencies.

The leadership in Washington Township is thrilled to provide this improvement, which is sure to make Hendricks County safer and more enjoyable.
