The City of West Lafayette has made multiple relocations of its governmental services over the past several years, which led to a feasibility study to identify a new home for City Hall. This feasibility study resulted in the selection of a 1930’s school building located in the heart of the City. Axis Architecture was identified to design the adaptive re-use of the building and extensive renovations took place in 2020. The facility opened to the public in January of 2021. The building went through a massive transformation that required significant structural changes. The City is excited to be working in their new permanent home after working from several temporary locations over the years. Veridus was selected to represent the City in the design and construction of this project.
